BALLYA Apramycin Test is manufactured by BALLYA, it’s rapid test for detection apramycin residues in feed product, grain, edible oil, medicine and Chinese herbal medicin, especially in feed. Lateral flow assay test base on the gold
immunochromatography assay technology.
Apramycin is a new veterinary antibiotic of aminoglycoside produced by Streptomyces darkens. It was successfully developed by the United States in the 1980s. It is characterized by a broad antibacterial spectrum and is not easy to develop resistance. It can be used for chicken Escherichia coli and Salmonella and infections caused by mycoplasma. As a pharmaceutical feed additive, apramycin can significantly promote weight gain and increase feed conversion rate, and is widely used in the field of livestock and poultry breeding.
It has a broad antibacterial spectrum. It has a strong antibacterial effect on Gram-negative bacteria, especially E. coli and Salmonella resistant to other antibiotics. It has a strong antibacterial effect on Gram-positive bacteria (some streptococci) and treponema And some mycoplasma also have a good antibacterial effect.
Apramycin can prevent and treat poultry colibacillosis and salmonellosis by drinking, injection and mixed feeding.
For poultry drinking water administration, add 250 to 500 mg of this product (250,000 to 500,000 titer units) per liter of water for 5 days to prevent chicken colibacillosis and salmonellosis. Stop the administration 7 days before the market; the bioavailability of drinking water administration is only 11.0%, so the protection rate of acute colibacillosis in chickens is limited; drinking water administration method is more suitable for controlling intestinal infection or natural infection, while for systemic acute infection, injection should be used as treatment. Good; Apramycin can be injected intramuscularly at 10 mg/mouse for 5 days, once a day, which can completely protect chickens from coliform and Salmonella typhimurium infection; broiler chickens can be fed at 5 grams per 1,000 kg (5 million Unit) The concentration is added to the
feed and used for the whole period of 0-6 weeks of age, which can promote the growth of broilers and increase weight gain, especially in the early growth period (0-21 days of age), the effect is obvious.
Adverse reactions: ototoxicity damages the eighth pair of cranial nerves; nephrotoxicity; allergic reactions.
It has a synergistic effect when combined with penicillins or cephalosporins, and it is not suitable to combine with aminoglycosides (to enhance toxicity).
Treat diseases caused by
E. coli and other sensitive bacteria in poultry and pigs.
1. It has special effects on E. coli, Salmonella and Mycoplasma in chickens.
2. It can treat diarrhea caused by Enterobacter calves and Salmonella.
For pig mixed feeding, 100 grams of pig feed per 500 kilograms of feed is used for 7 days. For chicken mixed drinking, 100 grams per 200 kilograms of water is used for 5 days.
Specimen include: all kinds of feeds and
seafood. Widely used in feed industry and food processing industry.

BALLYA Apramycin Test is a qualitative test kit. It’s only for screening purpose. If have positive cases or suspected case, maybe use other detection method to make a further detection, such as, ELISA,
PCR, qPCR, etc.
As a pharmaceutical feed additive, apramycin can significantly promote weight gain and increase feed conversion rate, and is widely used in the field of livestock and poultry breeding. However, many people do not pay attention to the dosage and usage of apramycin, which leads to the residue of apramycin in food. Apramycin is harmful to the human body and should be avoided as much as possible.
The
BALLYA Apramycin Test provided by
BALLYA can effectively detect the apramycin in the samples. Simple operation, short detection time and high accuracy are the characteristics of this product.
