BALLYA Albendazole Test is manufactured by BALLYA, it’s rapid test for detection albendazole residues in milk & beef product, especially in milk. Lateral flow assay test base on the gold immunochromatography assay technology.
Appearance and properties: white to light yellow crystalline powder, odorless Melting point: 207-211 °C (decomposition) Water solubility: slightly soluble in organic solvents, insoluble in water Storage conditions: 0-6 °C
Albendazole mechanism of action
After being metabolized to sulfoxides or sulfones in the body, it inhibits the parasite's absorption of glucose, resulting in depletion of the body's glycogen, or inhibits the fumarate reductase system, hinders the production of ATP, and makes the parasite unable to survive and reproduce.
Sodium sulfide is dissolved in 95% ethanol, and 2-nitro-4-thiocyanatoaniline is added at 50 °C. Stir at 60 °C, cool to 40 °C, and add bromopropane at once. After reacting at 40 °C, the reaction temperature was raised to 60 °C. Add sodium sulfide and react at 80 °C. Evaporate the ethanol under reduced pressure and add water. Cool and extract with chloroform. The extract was washed with water, dried, added S-methyl-N, N-bis (methoxycarbonyl) isothiourea and glacial acetic acid, and refluxed. Distill chloroform and add methanol. Cool, filter with suction, wash with methanol, and dry to obtain crude albendazole.immunochromatography assay technology.
How Albendazole uses for?
High-efficiency and broad-spectrum anthelmintic, which is one of the benzimidazole drugs with a broad anthelmintic spectrum and the strongest insecticidal effect. It is suitable for removing roundworms, pinworms, hookworms, whipworms, treating various types of cysticercosis, and it can also be used for deworming domestic animals.
Each tablet of this product contains 0.2 g of the main ingredient albendazole. The auxiliary materials are lactose, starch, polyvinylpyrrolidone, sodium carboxymethyl starch, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate, and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose. Used for ascariasis and pinworm disease.
Selectively and irreversibly inhibit intestinal nematode glucose uptake, deplete endogenous glycogen, and inhibit fumarate reductase, and prevent the production of adenosine triphosphate, causing the death of the worm; it can cause the cytoplasmic microtubule Denaturation and binding to its tubulin cause blockage of intracellular transport, resulting in the accumulation of endocrine particles in the Golgi apparatus, the cytoplasm is gradually dissolved, and the worm body dies.
Oral, anthelmintic, roundworm, pinworm, whipworm, 0.4g day service. Infants over 2 years of age with simple pinworms and simple roundworm infections, 0.2g daily service. Treatment of cysticercosis: 15 ~ 20 mg / kg per day, taken in 2 times. 10 days is a course of treatment. 15 to 20 days after drug withdrawal, the second course of treatment can be performed. Generally 2 to 3 courses of treatment. Repeat treatment if necessary. For other parasites, such as Streptomyces faecalis, etc., take 400 mg daily for 6 days. Repeat administration once if necessary. The dosage for children under 12 years old is halved. No fasting or bowel cleansing is required before taking the medicine. It can be taken with food after chewing, swallowing or crushing.
What's Albendazole side effect?
1. Can cause encephalitis syndrome, mostly delayed reactions. 2. A few cases have symptoms such as dry mouth, fatigue, sleepiness, dizziness, headache, nausea, and upper abdominal discomfort. But they are all mild and can be relieved without treatment. 3. A few patients may have skin lesions such as drug eruptions and exfoliative dermatitis; white blood cells (especially granulocytes) and thrombocytopenia may appear. 4. The treatment of swine cysticercosis has a large dosage and a long course of treatment. The reaction generally appears 2 to 7 days after taking the drug. There are headache, fever, rash, muscle soreness, and seizures. These symptoms are opposite to the death of cysticercosis. Protein and other factors are related, and corresponding measures must be taken (adrenocortical hormones, lowering intracranial pressure, antiepileptic therapy, etc.).
1. Allergic constitution, those with allergy history and family allergy history are prohibited. 2. Pregnant women and lactating women are prohibited. Children under 3.2 years old are prohibited. 4. Patients with liver and kidney dysfunction are disabled.
Albendazole use as a veterinary medicine
Albendazole for cow
Albendazole has a good repellent effect on most of the gastrointestinal parasites adults and larvae of cattle, usually low doses against Trichostrongylus elegans, Trichinella spiralis, Gubo nematodes, Bovine nematode Oster's nematodes, mastoid nematodes, and adult bloodworm nematodes have excellent repellent effects. The high dose limit not only can almost eliminate the larvae of most of the above-mentioned species, but also has an excellent effect on adult radiant esophageal nematodes, nematode nematodes, net-tail nematodes, Moniezia spp.
What specimen can be detected by BALLYA Albendazole Test?
Specimen include: beef, etc. Widely used in beef and beef industry.
Significance of testing Albendazole
To protect human have health food and avoid contaminated food. The albendazole is harmful for human being, can not take too much in body.
1. Take beef specimen 2. Add the supernatant to cassette 3. Wait for 15 minutes to result 4. The details of operation, refer to the kit instruction
Limitations of BALLYA Albendazole Test?
BALLYA Albendazole Test is a qualitative test kit. It’s only for screening purpose. If have positive cases or suspected case, maybe use other detection method to make a further detection, such as, ELISA, PCR, qPCR, etc.
Albendazole has been widely used as an insect repellent in various industries. The beef cattle breeding industry deserves special attention. Beef provides people with rich nutrition, making it indispensable in daily life. The problem of residual albendazole in beef has always troubled people, so it is necessary to detect beef in time. BALLYA Albendazole Test provided by BALLYA can effectively and quickly detect the presence of albendazole residues in beef. Not only is the operation simple and the detection time short, but also the tester can obtain the test result in the first time.
