CIP Cleaning Procedure of Milking Equipment in Ranch

1. Cleaning process:
End of Milking→Rinse with clean water at 40 ℃→Cyclic cleanings with washing fluid (alkali) at 85℃→Rinse with clean water at 40 ℃→Cyclic cleanings with washing fluid (alkali) at 85℃→Rinse with clean water.

The specific temperature is according to the recommended temperature of the cleaner manufacturer. Generally, the temperature of each part required by the cleaner manufacturer is 35-45 ℃ of warm water and 75-80℃ of hot water. Considering the heat dissipation in the cleaning tank, increasing the temperature of the water in the cleaning tank moderately to ensure that the temperature required by the cleaner manufacturer can be reached in actual cleaning.

The water consumption of each cleaning part is calculated by the number of milking places multiplied by (7-10) L divided by milking places, the measuring bottle equipment can be calculated by a larger value, the electronic measuring equipment can be calculated by a smaller value, and the cleaning water consumption of each part of pipeline milking equipment is calculated by the length of pipeline multiplied by 0.8L/m.

Before cleaning, remove the filter bag in the filter and replace a new one. Then remove it after cleaning. 

2. Cleaning parts
CIP cleaning control system and the manual cleaning process can refer to the following control parts.

(1) Preparation
Work to be prepared within 10 minutes after milking: drain the remaining milk from the milk collecting tank and the milking pipeline; connect the cleaning pipeline well; place the milking cup group on the cleaning seat, and the milking equipment is in the state of cleaning; prepare clean water at 40℃ according to the amount of cleaning water used by the milking equipment in the cleaning tank; open the cleaning pipe valve of milking equipment to absorb water.

(2) Pre-rinsing
The milk tube from the milk collecting tank to the refrigerating tank is not connected with the cleaning tank, and the pre-rinsing washing water is discharged directly without circulation until it is clear. It usually needs to be rinsed for 3-5 minutes. In the process, it is necessary to avoid adding cold water to reduce the temperature of the clean water; if the milk pipeline is longer, it can be extended for 3-5 minutes appropriately; if there is no water in the cleaning tank, the milking device can be closed to clean pipe Valve. Open drainage valve at milk collector and milk pipeline (if any).

(3) Cyclic cleanings with alkali washing fluid
①.Add hot water at 85℃ to the cleaning tank and add alkali washing fluid in proportion.

②. Connect the milk pump and tube with the cleaning tank at the milk collecting tank and open the cleaning pipe valve of the milking equipment to absorb water.

③. Clean the washing fluid at 85℃ for 5-10 minutes and close the cleaning pipe valve of the milking equipment 2 minutes before the end of the cyclic cleanings.

④. Return the washing water at the last time of the alkali cyclic cleanings and the cleaning effect is better when the water temperature of the tank is above 40 ℃.

⑤. The drainage outlet of the cleaning tank is opened after the cyclic cleanings.

⑥. The drainage outlet is closed after washing the tank with tap water.

⑦. The drainage valve of the milk collecting tank and the milk pipeline (if any) is opened and closed after drainage.

(4) Rinse with clear water

①. Add clean water at 40 ℃ to the cleaning tank.

②. Open the cleaning pipe valve of milking equipment to absorb water.

③. The cleaning pipe of the milk pump at the milk collecting tank is not connected with the cleaning tank, and the cleaning water is discharged directly without circulation.

④. Close the cleaning pipe valve of milking equipment, and open the drainage outlet of the cleaning tank to drain the residual water.

⑥. Close the drainage outlet of the cleaning tank and open the drainage valve of the milk collecting tank and the milk pipeline (if any) and close after drainage.

(5) Cyclic cleanings of acid washing fluid
①. Add hot water at 85℃ to the cleaning tank and add acid washing fluid in proportion.

②. Connect the milk pump and pipe with the cleaning tank at the milk collecting tank.

③. Open the cleaning pipe valve of the milking equipment to absorb water.

④. Circulating washing fluid at 85 ℃ for 5-10 minutes.

⑤. Close the cleaning pipe valve of the milking equipment.

⑥. Open the drainage outlet of the cleaning tank after the cyclic cleanings.

⑦. After washing the tank with tap water, close the drainage outlet of the cleaning tank.

⑧. After opening the drainage valve of the milk collector and the milk pipeline (if any), close the drainage valve.

(6). Rinse with clear water
①. Add clear water at 40℃ to the cleaning tank, or use normal temperature water.

②. Open the cleaning pipe valve of milking equipment to absorb water.

③. The cleaning pipe of the milk pump at the milk collecting tank is not connected with the cleaning tank, and the cleaning water is discharged directly without circulation.

④. Observe whether the cleaning water is clear, it should not be washed repeatedly if it is unclear.

⑤. Close the cleaning pipe valve of milking equipment.

⑥. Open the drainage outlet of the cleaning tank and drain the residual water.

⑦. After cleaning, tighten the manual drainage valve of the milking equipment after drainage.
